In Trophee Mondiale 2020,Category “World Music”, Bulgaria will be presented by Accordiomania Ensemble from National School of Arts “Panayot Pipkov” - Pleven. Georgi Ivanov from Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts - Plovdiv will take part in Category “Master”. Gergana Ilievа from National School of Arts “Panayot Pipkov” - Pleven and Valentin Todorov from Emiliyan Stanev School - Veliko Tarnovo will take part in the International Open Trophee 2020 - Category “Classic” 16 and under.
Dear participants, teachers, performers and all accordion lovers. I am very sorry to announce that due to the unpredictable situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are forced to cancel the International Accordiomania Accordion Festival 2020 in Pleven. We thought of other possible options of having the festival. However, the uncertainty of the progression of COVID-19 pandemic made us take the decision of cancelling it. We think it is a reasonable idea, because we do not want to put participants…
The Second Accordiomania International Competition has decided to include one more category - XI for folk music participants. It is for participants born in 2006 or later. Up to 7 minutes length of repertoire, which must consists of two folklore pieces in different time signatures.
In the Results section the rankings and the relevant jury protocols are published by categories.
CONCERTINO AccordionBand from Republic of Moldova is the winner of the Grand Prix at the first International Accordion Competition - Accordiomania 2019, which took place in Pleven, Bulgaria from 6th to 8th June 2019. They receive a statuette and a cash prize of 500 Euro.

Due to long holiday in Bulgaria, banks will not be working in some of the days and there might be difficulties with registration. New deadline 12 May for applying to the International Accordiomania Accordion Competition 2019 and the masterclasses.
GRAND PRIX in International Accordion Competition 2019 is awarded to the participant who isgiven the highest number of points by the jury members. Тhe participant receive a statuette, a diploma and a cash prize of 500 €. (more info: Prize fund) 
The new element, which makes The Accordiomania International Accordion Competition unique, is the requirement for the Folklore Category. The competitors are required not only to be soloist, but to be able to accompany folk singers or other instruments. This experience will help them become fully accomplished accordion accompanists, who are needed for the the Bulgarian singing, instrumental and dancing folklore.
For the first time in Bulgaria, during the Accordiomania International Accordion Competition there will be a pre-selection round for the Finals of the 69th Mondial Trophee 2019, which will be held in Portugal from 3th to 9th November 2019. It is organized by the Confederation Mondiale de I’Accordeon.
